I am from Europe and would love to be in this kind of sangha. Very clear on point teaching and not reciting all mantras as usual in practice with little real clear instruction what is more about, I think many lamas lack that when teaching the so called western mind, they give it too superficial explanations. Tsem Rinpoche seems to be a pioneer in that to develop it in more constructive way of new way of clear teaching,

Comports completely on my end, i arrived at yellow zambala sadhana as per rinpoche's instructions because previously i simply enjoyed listening to the white zambala mantra having no clue about any of this. Presently ( about three years later) i'm down to a single mala of yellow because that practice set me up to be ready for other deities practices that deal with loftier concerns. Thank you rinpoche 🙇📿🧘☸

I appreciate what he says in the theravada tradition is 4 eons the buddha lasted. I have Buddha statue in My Home and i bow down and make a wish, the merits helps protect me and achieve goals. Also i dedícate the merits to the devas.

Clearly , there is no correlation between Feng Shui and Buddhist Faith / Buddhist statue . Feng Shui is an art form . A practice of no absolute form but rather for balancing nature with its surrounding and sustaining harmony . Buddhist is a religious and moral guidelines . A practice of self discipline for achieving a spiritual enlightenment . It is like you are comparing the difference between food versus medicine .

I never really liked Feng Shui rules, about placing things, color choices etc. What if it just doesn't work for practical reasons, according to a organized home? Less clutter, open spaces, more natural elements, calming natural colors, spiritual elements, natural clean scents, plants, etc. Not sure if there is a discipline, that incorporates these simple elements?

buddhism 2 me is self discovery... not 2 learn from others...but 2 do our own research.....
